My travels in South America came to an end and I returned to Vermont to catch the rest of winter. There has been plenty of snow and I have enjoyed skiing and spending time with family and friends. Below are pictures from a day of backcounty skiing in Bolton. I will spend the next month writing a Fulbright application to research Mayan agriculture in southern Mexico, and making final preparations for the Pacific Crest Trail. In April I fly out to Mount Baker for some big mountain skiing, and in mid April fly to San Diego to begin a 2650 mile hike of the Pacific Crest Trail.
