I took this photo at sunrise from a mountain top on Chichagof Island in Alaska. I was part of a film team documenting Brown Bears and we camped for 3 weeks in the alpine among one of the densest populations of brown bears in the world. One morning we woke up and our camp was surrounded by a sea of clouds, reiminscent of the glaciers that blanketed this land in the last ice age.
